Sara was diagnosed with rectal cancer in September 2016 and was confirmed to be in remission in June 2017. Since its formation, Love Your Buns has worked to raise awareness of young-onset colorectal cancer, empower patients and caregivers with knowledge and resources, and programs to improve the quality of life of patients and survivors.
