Roger Leroy Zeller, 77, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. Roger was born on May 24, 1943 to Clara and William Zeller of Grafton, ND. He graduated in 1961 from Grafton Sr. High School. On January 6, 1962, Roger married the love of his life, Joyce Lizakowski, of Minto, ND. Together they raised three children, Shelley, David, and Bill, and a home that he was incredibly proud of. Roger retired in 2005 after 42 years with the Teamsters Union.

Roger loved football, especially the Bison, watching his westerns, George Jones, dancing, Old Milwaukee Light, his wife's cooking, and spending time with his grandchildren and his animals (Maggie, Molly and Morti).

Roger was a man of few words but he provided well for his family and there was no questioning his love.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughter, Shelley (Alan) Anderson of Fargo, ND; sons David (Stacie) Zeller of Fargo, ND and Bill (Monica) Zeller of Elk River, MN; grandchildren, Lyndsey, Alexis, Olivia, Kayla, Carter, Ian, Ruthie, and Macie; and great grandchildren Landen, Logan, Josiah, and Remynton. He is also survived by his brother, Daniel (Beverly) Zeller of Coos Bay, OR; sister Connie (Tom, Sr.) Kjos of Grafton, ND; and special family Jeff and Cathy Anderson of Oxbow, ND.

The family would like to thank the Sanford Roger Marris Cancer Center nurses and doctors, specifically Dr. Gupta, for the care they provided Roger during his battle with MDS.

A Memorial Service will be at 1pm, Monday, October 5, 2020 at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home in Fargo, ND with a visitation one hour prior to the service. The service will be streamed on the funeral home website as well. Masks will be required at the service.
