Roger Alan Butenhoff was born April 10, 1946 in Fargo, ND to Milton H. and Muriel (Tangen) Butenhoff. He graduated from high school in Barnesville, MN and then Moorhead State with a degree in Geography. He travelled in Europe for about 1 year then moved to Minneapolis and worked for General Motors. He enjoyed motorcycles, snow skiing, flying, horses and the Sons of Norway.
Roger died April 29, 2017 at Eventide in Moorhead, MN.

He is survived by his mother, Muriel Larson, Fargo, ND; brother, Marlin (Betty) Butenhoff, Leonard, ND, sisters, Judy Stenshoel, Fargo, ND, Cheryl Bogie, Stillwater, MN, Laura (Alan) Johnson, Glyndon, MN, and Lisa Butenhoff, Fargo, ND and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his fathers, Milton H. Butenhoff and Donald J. Larson and grandparents.
