Obituary

Ricke Rogers, 64, of Dilworth, Minnesota, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. He was born on October 5, 1957, in Bloomington, California, son of Clayton and Nola Rogers.

When Ricke was young, he grew up with horses and Great Danes. But when he was a teenager, his love turned to motorcycle racing. After high school, he worked for his uncle in a transmission shop and an auto body repair shop. He worked for Gene Snow on his top fuel dragster in the NHRA, and was also crew chief for Frank Bradley. He then worked for custom car builder, Boyd Coddington, builder of the ZZ Top HogZZilla and CadZZilla, and toured with ZZ Top as their mechanic. He later went into the custom car and motorcycle business. In 2010, he moved to Minnesota to work for Turner Sand and Gravel until his death.

Ricke married Lynn Boss on April 4th, 2020, in Fargo North Dakota. They lived in Dilworth, Minnesota, but their dream was to finish fixing up their other house and land and live in the country.

Ricke is survived by his wife, Lynn Boss Rogers, their five cats, his parents, Clayton and Nola, and Lynn's family who loved him immensely.

Ricke will be dearly missed as a wonderful husband and friend.
