Randy Lee Omdalen was born in Cudahy, Wisconsin July 6, 1961 to Bill and Peggie Omdalen. He lived in Wisconsin, Boston, MA, Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez, CA before moving to Fargo, ND in 1996. Randy worked as a Mason for many years specializing in natural rock structures, walls, and fireplaces. When he moved to Fargo he worked as a Mason then in 2000 he went to work as a shop director and designer for a company that made water accessible equipment for people with handicaps. With a partner, he purchased the company 4 years ago (2018).

Randy loved the outdoors; he spent a lot of time helping his parents at their home on Loon Lake. He loved snowmobiling with his dad, brother, and cousins. Along with pontooning, and spending time with his friends at Loon Lake, especially for the 4th of July. Holidays with his family were a special time.
Randy is survived by his parents, Bill and Peggie Omdalen, Vergas, MN; his brother, Scott (Sue) Omdalen, Fargo, ND; nephews, Justin (Jessica) Omdalen, Barnesville, MN, Jacob (Bailey) Omdalen, Williston, ND; great-nephew, Kellen Omdalen and great nieces, Solveigh and Seren Omdalen, and great nephew, Kallen Omdalen. Aunts, Paulett Brimie, Ventura, CA, Patty Brimie, Monterey, CA and Loretta (Tom) Sherman, Pelican Rapids, MN. Cousins, Chris (Angie) Rosenberg, Fargo, ND; Eric (Julie) Rosenberg, Wahpeton, ND and Jonathan Cox, California.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed and Ella Brimie and Carl and Jennie Omdalen, uncles, Dr. David Rosenberg and Larry Cox, and cousin, Dr. Jason Rosenberg.
