Marilynn Martell, 81, of Fargo, ND, died Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Bethany Retirement Living in Fargo.

Marilynn Joanne Storley was born January 1, 1937 in Fargo, ND to Alfred and Farrell (White) Storley. She grew up in Harwood, ND where she attended grade school. She graduated from West Fargo High School in 1954.

Marilynn married LaRoy E. Olson on September 16, 1955 at Zion Lutheran Church in Harwood, ND.

She was an electric bass player and played in a country-western band with her husband and several friends, "The Rhythm Masters". They played together until LaRoy's death in 1973. She was also an avid bowler and helped out with the junior league at The Bowler for many years.

Marilynn was a passionate reader of many different genres of books and enjoyed time she spent with her friends.

Marilynn is survived by her four children, Ramona Wessels, Fargo, ND; Jeff (Tamara) Olson, Fargo, ND; Brian (Abbra) Olson, Fargo, ND; JuliAnne Olson, Mapleton, ND; brother, Jon Storley, West Fargo, ND; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, LaRoy; son, Kevin Olson; infant son, Dale Olson; sisters, Carole Brasel and June Kaufmann.
