LuElla was born July 22, 1938, on the farm near Gackle, ND, to Peter and Katherine (Veil) Morlock. She graduated from Gackle High School and Dakota Business College in Fargo, ND.

She married Norbert Kleingartner on June 21, 1959, at Gackle. They made their home in Fargo, ND. They had two children, David Mark (deceased) and Lisa Ann Kleingartner, Los Angeles, CA.

LuElla worked at the Cass County Courthouse, sold Avon while the children were growing up, was a bookkeeper at Baker Insurance, and then worked for the Fargo Public Schools until retirement.

She was a member of Olivet Lutheran Church, where she helped in many areas, especially working for funerals and knitting prayer shawls.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa and significant other, Yos (Ioasa) Sione; and sister-in-law, Eunice Morlock.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert; son, David, in 2004; her parents; four brothers, Arthur, Ludwig, Carl, and Marvin (in infancy); two sisters-in-law, Viona Morlock and Della Morlock; niece, LaRae Murch; nephew, Paul Morlock and great-niece, Valerie Murch.
