Linda Lou (Lambert) Brown was born June 29, 1940 to parents Alvin and Margaret Lambert in Westope, ND. She grew up in Maxbass, ND. She was united in marriage Harold L. Brown on May 1, 1965. They made their home in Minot, ND, where they raised their two daughters.

Linda had many careers which include being a nanny, working for Trinity nursing home in Minot, working in various friends’ diner's over the years but the one she was best at was being a mom. She was a longtime member of Vincent United Methodist Church in Minot, where she volunteered for whatever she could do. She moved to Fargo in 2013.

Linda died peacefully on December 7, 2019 at Bethany in Fargo with the comfort of her daughters by her side.

She is survived by daughters Leann (Mitchell) Donley and Melody Smith, both of Fargo, ND; sisters, Margaret (Peggy) Bahn of Bismarck, ND and Marlene (Allen) of Ojai, CA; and grandchildren, Mason and Garrett Donley, Kylee and Gillian Smith all of Fargo, ND. Linda was also blessed with many nieces, nephews and caring friends.

Proceeded in death by her husband Harold, her parents Alvin and Margaret Lambert, sisters, Mildred (Faye) Haugen, Shirley Urbatsch and brother, Alvin (Butch) Lambert.

Linda's family would like to thank Hospice of the Red River Valley and the Bethany staff on Cottonwood Court for taking exceptional care of her.

Funeral Service: 1:00 PM, Monday, December 16, at Faith United Methodist Church, Fargo.
Visitation: One hour prior to the service.
Burial: Perhus Cemetery, Kindred, ND.
