With deepest sorrow, we announce that Kaeden Steiner, 15, our most beloved son, brother, family member, and friend, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021.

Kaeden was born on February 8, 2006, in Wyoming, MN. He and his family have lived in West Fargo since Kaeden began kindergarten. Kaeden was a sophomore at Sheyenne High School in West Fargo. He worked at Skyzone in Fargo; it was one of his most favorite places to be.

Those who knew Kaeden, even just a little, have lost a shining light in their lives. He loved so many and was loved by so many more. He had an energy about him that with even just one encounter with him, you would be impacted in some way. Kaeden loved all things music, fashion, dancing, skateboarding, or climbing, flipping, and jumping. Friends and family were the lights in his life. Kaeden was a compassionate, loving, and insightful young man, the “go-to” guy for his friends with anything troubling going on. He was larger than life, utterly genuine and “himself,” and had a magnetic personality. Whether it was how absolutely beautiful and sweet, ridiculously funny, or completely inappropriate he was, he left his mark.

Kaeden will be missed every day by his parents, Kenneth and Julie, his sisters Aliyah and Kailee, by his grandfather Kenneth, aunts and uncles, extended relatives, and by many, many friends and acquaintances. Kaeden will continue to be with us all through the memories, the stories, and the ways he has touched our hearts.

We know Kaeden is now with his grandmother Sharon, grandparents Richard and Edith, aunts Brenda and Kathy, and his great-grandparents. He is loved here on earth, as well as in heaven.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.
