James "Jim" Arthur Kennedy passed away on October 19, 2021, in his sleep. Jim was a dear son, nephew, and friend to many.

Jim was born to Judy and Neil Kennedy on May 14, 1981, in Valley City, North Dakota. At a young age, with Jim's curious brain, he was able to take things apart and rebuild them with no difficulty. Along with Jim's love of dogs, especially Labrador retrievers, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking in the woods, and spending as much time outdoors as he could. Jim was also known for his kindness and caring for other people. Following in his father's footsteps as a service plumber, Jim worked eight years for Jeffs's Plumbing and Heating. He was appreciated by his customers as a quality serviceman that always did his best work and went above and beyond to help.

Jim is survived by his parents, Neil and Judy Kennedy, Uncle Dave (Dawn) Kennedy, Aunt Carol Dean, Aunt Sue (Jerry) Pederson, Aunt Jean (Dave) Schaefer, Uncle Paul (Tina) Kennedy, along with many loving cousins and second cousins.
