Frank Pierce, of Fargo, ND, died Monday, June 5, 2017 at Sheyenne Crossing at the age of 84.

Frank was born in Wahpeton, ND on February 6, 1933, the son of Ralph and Alice Pierce.

He attended school in Breckenridge, MN and graduated in 1950. After graduation, Frank started working in the roofing industry. In 1953 Frank married Beverly Petschke. In 1976 with two partners, Frank started Pierce Roofing and Sheet Metal. He was a past recipient of the FM Builders Exchange Construction Industry Award.

Frank spent summer months at their lake home with family and he commuted to work in Fargo. Frank retired in 2000.

Frank is survived by his wife, Beverly; daughters, Kimberly, Jan (Mitch) Wittmayer; son, Frank (Mary) and 3 granddaughters, Kaitlin Pierce, Karly Pierce, Andrea Wittmayer; brother, Ralph (Barb), Sioux Falls, SD; sister, Annette Formo (Vernon), Waukesha, WI and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Alice Pierce and sister, Dorothy West.
