Obituary
Evelyn "Evie" Offerdahl, 91 of Fargo, died Monday, April 17, 2017 at Bethany on 42nd.
Evie was born June 16, 1925 in Fargo, where she grew up and attended school. She graduated from Sacred Heart and worked at Woolworth’s, JC Penney, and Herbst department stores. She married James Offerdahl in Moorhead on May 6, 1948. They made their home in Fargo, where they raised their family. Evie operated a daycare out of her home for many years until the age of 80. She enjoyed gardening, reading books, traveling, and rescuing animals.
She is survived by her children, Alan Offerdahl and Sherry Offerdahl, both of Fargo, Donna (Paul) Knutson of Omaha, NE, and Wayne (Natalie) Offerdahl of Felton, MN, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Evie was preceded in death by her husband, James; son, Lynn; granddaughter, Kate, and three brothers.
Memorials are preferred to Adopt-A-Pet.
