Dennis Pfau, 75, of Fargo, ND, was called to his eternal resting place on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at the Fargo VA Hospital.

Dennis Gordon Pfau entered this world on March 29, 1945 in Minot, ND, born to Gordon and Margaret (Benjamin) Pfau. They moved to Rugby, ND in his early years where he attended school and graduated.

Dennis enlisted in the US Navy and served for four years, including a period in Vietnam serving on a supply ship. He also drove ambulance in San Diego, CA while he was in the Navy. In 1970 he moved back to Rugby, ND where he drove semi-truck and later worked as a postal clerk. He moved to Fargo where he continued his work with the post office until his retirement. Through the years he bought and sold many apartment buildings and rental houses and enjoyed the time he spent doing this.

Dennis is survived by his son, DeWayne Pfau, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Greta Pfau and Griffin Pfau; siblings, Wesley (Susan) Pfau, Fargo, ND; Marsha (Donn) Rau, Fargo, ND; Wanda (Ron) Kremer, Orrin, ND; Donovan (Lori) Hornstein, Hayden, CO; and Jayne Hornstein, Minot, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debbie Veen Pfau; sister, Phyllis Ripplinger; and brother, David Hornstein.

Visitation: 6-8pm, Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND.
