Clarence E. Peterson was born July 28, 1929 in Fargo, ND to Clarence E Peterson Sr. and Ruby (Rask) Peterson. He grew up in Fargo and graduated from Central High School. He attended ND Agricultural College (NDSU) studying mechanical engineering.

Clarence proudly serviced his country in the Air Force. He married Marlys Tvedt on June 19, 1954 at Pontoppidan Lutheran Church in Fargo and together they had four children. Clarence worked for International Harvester Co for 43 years. He also worked for Red River International and Nelson International. He retired in 1991.

Clarence was an active member of the Golden K Kiwanis Club and loved fishing and NDSU Bison sports. He died on November 18, 2019 at Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo, ND.

He is survived by his wife, Marlys; son, Gary Peterson of Fargo, daughters, Sandra (Rob) Schatz, Audubon, MN, Susan (James) Bloyd, Omaha, NE and Sharon (Gerard) Faith, Audubon, MN; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Sr. and Ruby Peterson.
