Clara E. Staiger, 89, of Moorhead, died Friday, April 7, 2017 in Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, MN.
Clara was born February 15, 1928 in Streeter, ND to Alex and Lydia (Roth) Buck. She grew up and attended High School in Streeter, ND.
She married Ben Staiger October 5, 1947 in Jamestown, ND.
She is survived by her son, Thomas (Lisa) Staiger, Moorhead, MN; daughters-in-law, Carol Staiger, Fargo, ND, and Nancy Staiger, Moorhead, MN; sister, Rita Herr, Minneapolis, MN; brother, Mel (Edna) Buck, Fargo, ND; sister-in-law, Lenora Buck, Fargo, ND; seven grandchildren, Greta (Greg) Beller, Marissa (Jason) Aldeen, Tony, Stephanie (Aaron) Olson, Emily, Katie, and Betsy, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben; sons, Terry and Doug; and siblings, Arnie, Lorraine, and Adeline.
In addition to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Clara’s greatest joys were being a homemaker and a longtime member of Calvary Church at Village Green.
