On Thursday, September 15, 2022, Cindee Krieger, passed away at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND at the age of 60.

She was born on August 26, 1962, to David and Norma Sliper. She grew up in Buxton, ND and graduated from Oak Grove High School. Cindee was the 3rd runner up in the Miss Teen North Dakota Pageant. She attended Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD and Moorhead State.

She married Duane Krieger on September 4th, 1982, in Buxton, ND and they had one son (Joshua) together. They lived in the Fargo-Moorhead area and eventually settled outside of Hawley, MN on a hobby farm where she enjoyed raising calves and was active in local Cub Scout Pack and Boy Scout Troop.

She worked as an administrative assistant for multiple organizations including Midweek Eagle and Lutheran Social Services. When she wasn’t working, she spent her time raising her son, numerous foster children, and babysitting for friends and neighbors.

Cindee attended Harvest Valley Church in Horace, ND. Cindee and Duane hosted several bible studies over the years in their home. Cindee always enjoyed sharing the word and her love of God with others.

She loved to spend time with her family, especially her two grandchildren. She spent endless hours playing legos, board games, and reading books with them. Cindee enjoyed stamping and card making. She held several classes for others to learn the hobby as well. She also had a card making group, full of good friends who met multiple times a year. When the weather was hot, she loved spending time on the lake with a bobber and half of a worm trying to catch a big mouth billy bass.

She is survived by her husband, Duane, Fargo, ND. Son, Joshua (Sarah), Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Caleb and Lilian Krieger; mother, Norma Sliper, Fargo, ND; brother, Timothy Sliper, Lithtonia, GA.

She is preceded in death by her father, David Sliper.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 11am at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home in Fargo. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial at Kulm, ND in Assembly of God Cemetery following the service.
