Adeline Mildred Sprattler, age 93, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2023, in Fargo, ND.

Adeline was born on July 27, 1930, to William and Ella Hanson in Minot, ND. After moving to Fargo as a young girl, she graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1948 and went on to study nursing.

Adeline married Paul L. Sprattler on August 27, 1953, and together they had four sons. As a military family, they lived in New Mexico, Texas, and Okinawa before returning to Fargo.

Adeline was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Paul; son, William; and siblings, Evelyn, Robert, and Arthur. She is survived by sons, Paul (Audrey) of Mahtomedi, MN, Gordon (Trisha) of Quartzite, AZ, and Jim (Karen) of St. Paul, MN. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Adeline’s life will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 21 at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, 215 7th Street South in Fargo. A visitation will be one hour before the service.
