Dickie Mcclary

Dickie McClary, 71, of Fargo, ND, died Friday, September 30, 2011 at his home in Fargo, ND. Dickie Dean McClary was born February 24, 1940 in Sioux City, Iowa to Dean and Alice (Robinson) McClary. He Graduated from Climbing Hill Community School in 1958. Through the years Dick worked in many communities, finally retiring from Prince of Peace Nursing Home in Sioux Falls, SD. Dick loved fishing and spending lots of time with his children and adored his grandchildren. He also enjoyed cooking his “delicious” and often requested cabbage rolls and chicken and noodles. He was always willing to lend a hand to all. Dick is survived by his children, Troy Stacey, Shannon (Mike) Longfellow, David (Lori) McClary, Daisha Wolf, Alicia (Kip) Bauley and Chelsea McClary; five grandchildren, James, Kaylee, Shawn, Andrea and Carter; two brothers, David and Riley and sister, Sandy; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Prayer Service: Tuesday, October 4, 2011, 4:00 PM at Hope Lutheran Church – North Campus, Fargo, ND. In lieu of flowers family would like donations sent to the American Diabetes Association in his honor.
