Steven D. Holen was born October 23rd 1970 in Fargo, ND, to Jerald and Annetta (Kronbeck) Holen. He grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo North in 1989. Following graduation, Steven traveled to Washington for a few months before returning to the area. Steven worked many jobs until he began working at Wallwork Truck Center of Fargo in 1993. Steven enjoyed spending time with his two children, friends and all family; hunting, spending time at the lake along with being an avid Vikings and NASCAR fan.

Steven died Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Sanford Health in Fargo surrounded by family.

Steven is survived by his two children Jessica Holen and Nicholas Holen; his mother Annetta (Sam) Haugen; brother Mike (Cathy) Holen; four sisters Tamera Lewis, Kimberly (Linus) Thomas, DeeAnn (Jim) Wanner and Suzanne (Corey) Nitschke; grandmother Esther Kronbeck; girlfriend, Brenda Kraft; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerald; grandparents Morgan and Alice Holen; and grandfather Alvie Kronbeck.
